Covenant Presbyterian Church is a congregation whose history spans over one hundred and ninety years in Cynthiana, KY (over fifty as Covenant Presbyterian Church), and its confession draws back to the Westminster Assembly of the Protestant Reformation in the seventeenth century, and back to the days of the Apostles and the ministry of the Lord Jesus Himself.
We are a group of believers who understand that the God of the universe, who created and upholds everything, calls men to come to Him. Our problem with coming before that God who made everything is that we are guilty of falling short of His standards to appear before Him. The Bible is God’s story to show mankind that He loves us and, as a holy and righteous God, He has provided a way to be a Just God and the Justifier of those who believe in Jesus!
The good news (often called the Gospel) is that the Bible explains how God has worked out the plan to save men and women from every nation and people group in the world! We share fellowship with every believer who loves God, loves His Son, and who confesses the truths contained in the Bible!
